No SSO on auth page
We are using SSO on our box.net solution. It works great when I login normally to our box.net page. However when I go to this url to authenticate the application: https://www.box.net/api/1.0/auth/ I don't get any sso options. Users then need to create a password on their account go back to the page and authenticate them self. Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi Ludvig,
This is a known issue. We have SSO enabled on www.box.net, but we do not yet have it working on the API authentication pages. Those pages were designed so that we can add SSO to them without affecting connected applications, but we still need to get SSO fully operational on those pages.
I'm sorry for this inconvenience. -

Any ETA on when this will be available? What's the workaround ? Tried adding an "external password" ... rejected it.

Hi Sean,
We don't have an exact ETA yet, but it's slated tentatively this year (hopefully in the earlier half of the remaining quarter. We've been getting more requests for SSO on these pages recently, which always helps to get the feature prioritized sooner. -

I've downloaded the app for my phone and my tablet both android devices and tried to single sign-on but none worked.
I hope that feature will be available soon, just my 2 cents to support of those like me who want the feature get priority.

Ugh - yes, at this point we have SSO on our main API sso page, but we're still working on the mobile SSO page (in addition to a couple other UI issues identified on that page recently). Please hang in there. When we add it, your app may automatically work with SSO, without changes needed.

Jeremy - I see that you said:
"Ugh - yes, at this point we have SSO on our main API sso page"
We are just now onboarding with Box and I am starting to look into using the API. We have chosen to leverage Okta.com for SSO with box. So i am trying to do exactly what Ludvig stated at the beginning of this thread. However, even after setting up my user's profile with a password for SSO I am still unable to generate an auth token.

Hi damanley,
Can you email us at developers@box.com with an affected username (of an account from someone willing to share that with us)? We may have identified a bug in this space and would like to have a specific user report. -
